Module Description
More and more, entities requiring artistic and creative products and services are
turning to the competition venue. This usually takes place onlineso geographic
boundaries are eliminated, and is often open to professionals and amateurs alike.
We have been given real-world projects from local businesses needing marketing
services to offer participants a chance to respond to the request by creating a
product utilizing the skills they learned prior to their arrival, such as Adobe and
Microsoft Office Products.
Watch this space grow as we gather the details of the projects for students to
contemplate. In the meantime, we have cited some possible contests they might
want to enter!
Goals
* Become aware of alternative career and job opportunities outside the mainstream
marketing agencies and in-house marketing departments
* Understand the rules and regulations of design and other marketing-related
competitions
Assignments
1. Prepare entries to available competitions and requests for marketing services and products
2. Class Project: Submission to the Trieste Contemporanea Competition as a single entry from the National School of Finance and Business
